
Observing that Amir Magrey, who was killed by security forces in the Hyderpora encounter in Jammu & Kashmir was buried in accordance with religious beliefs, the Supreme Court on Monday dismissed his father’s petition seeking that body be handed over to him to perform last rites, saying “the dead should not be disturbed and some sanctity should be attached to the grave”.
